Case Studies

Project – Data warehouse / BI implementation (e-commerce Company) Environment – Informatica 8, SQL Server, MYSQL, Linux, Windows Server Client wanted to create an environment for centralized reporting. Our consultants designed and developed a solution using SQL Server database and INFORMATICA 8 ETL tool. Data was collected from multiple data sources (relational and flat files). We designed an incremental load strategy to load data warehouse. After the implementation client was able to get all necessary information related to sales, purchase, inventory, customers and user behavior from a single source.

Project – Data warehouse (e-commerce Company) Environment – Oracle 9i, 10g, Oracle warehouse builder 10g, Oracle workflow, XML, Linux, Great Plains Success Stories Here are some of the success stories related to the complex projects executed by our consultants for various clients. Client required incremental data warehouse load from various production systems. Our consultants designed a near real time data warehouse load solution on Oracle 9i/10g and Oracle Warehouse Builder platform. Data was loaded from production system into ODS and data warehouse was loaded from ODS. Implemented integration solution to integrate data from warehouse to financial application.

Project – Data warehouse / BI solution (University) Environment – Oracle 9i/10g, Informatica, Erwin, PL/SQL, PeopleSoft, Oracle Applications, Business objects Client wanted an enterprise data warehouse solution which will enable them to create consolidated reports by utilizing data from various departments of the Organization. Our consultants architected a data hub which housed data from various systems at transaction level. Data was correlated and aggregated. Also architected business objects universe, reports and dashboard. Incremental ETL architecture on Informatica and Oracle platform.

Project – Data warehouse and BI solution (State government agency) Environment – Oracle 9i, Oracle warehouse builder 10g, Oracle workflow, XML, Oracle Streams, Linux Project required data collection from over 10 sources and complex business logic/transformations to be applied on incoming source data. Our team implemented data warehouse solution on Oracle 9i and Oracle warehouse builder platform. Data was collected every hour from various data sources (flat files, oracle, SQL server and XML files). Consultants also implemented aggregates for faster load of Hyperion cubes.
